Call for Presentations

AOCOPM invites educational presentation proposals for our Annual and Midyear Educational Conferences. We seek peer-driven, practice-relevant content that advances occupational and preventive medicine — free of commercial promotion.

Educational Quality Standards

All accepted presentations must satisfy these criteria:

  • Integrity - Content is factually accurate and evidence-based.
  • Utility - Content is current and directly applicable to occupational and preventive medicine practitioners.
  • Objectivity - Content is balanced, unbiased, and free from promotional influence.
  • Copyright - Content does not infringe upon known copyright.

Commercial presentations will not be accepted. Proposals whose primary purpose is to promote, market, or sell products, services, devices, or proprietary programs to AOCOPM members are outside the scope of this call. Presenters must disclose all industry relationships; presentations in which commercial intent is the primary driver of content will be disqualified regardless of disclosure.

Exhibitor and conference support opportunities are available separately through the Exhibitors & Supporters program.

Topics Needed

Refer to the AOBPM Tables of Specificity for regularly needed topics, or the attendee-suggested topic list from recent conferences. Timely, current topics are consistently well received.

Conference Dates

The Midyear Educational Conference is typically held in March or April in one of the southern states. The Annual Educational Conference is held in conjunction with OMED, usually in September or October. See the CME Events page for dates and locations.

Submitting a Proposal

Include the following with your submission:
