
Dr. Naomi Wriston is a graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has a CAQ in Occupational Medicine. She has provided Occupational Medicine with OhioHealth Employer Solutions in Columbus, Ohio since 2001 with a clinical focus on annual preventive evaluations for corporate executives and their spouses, especially within the Japanese community. She also provides leadership for Fit for Duty exams for Bus Drivers. She is a Fellow of AOCOPM and Clinical Associate Professor of OUHCOM (Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine).
Dr. Wriston was in Family Practice for 20 years in Central Ohio prior to becoming an Occupational Medicine Specialist. She was a Clinical Associate Professor with the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor with The Ohio State University, Department of Family Medicine. She is past president of the Columbus Academy of Osteopathic Medicine and past Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was Director of the Basic Course in Occupational Medicine for AOCOPM (2013-2018), served as Trustee on the Board of Trustees of AOCOPM (2013-2018) and as Treasurer (2021). She has lectured for the Basic Course and FMCSA DOT Course as well as provided various presentations at conferences.
Her special interests include Quality Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Women’s Health and Education.
